Objective: To stimulate the production of medical knowledge and within the healthcare field, particularly in undergraduate and postgraduate domains, by publishing studies that delve into important areas of clinical medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics. Publish content of national and international relevance.

Cost Policy: This journal is exclusively funded by private resources, with no costs incurred by authors. Additionally, there are no fees for manuscript submissions to the JGPGMS.

Copyright Policy: Authors are solely responsible for the content of their texts and retain the rights to their articles. The journal does not restrict authors' copyright management.

Privacy Policy: Names and addresses provided in this journal will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication, not being made available for other purposes or to third parties.

Peer Review Process: Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Graduate and PostGraduate Medical Studies will undergo double-blind peer review by two collaborating professionals. In case of disagreement, the manuscript may be sent to a third reviewer. The journal is committed to ensuring the anonymity of the entire process.

Articles must be original and unpublished. Articles submitted for evaluation in other journals will not be accepted. The evaluation process involves external evaluators. In case of conflicting opinions among reviewers, the editor-in-chief may send the manuscript to a third reviewer to gather more information to support their decision.

In the selection process, three situations are considered: text approved for publication, text returned to the author for modifications, or text rejected. Texts modified by authors will be sent back to the same reviewers who evaluated the first version. The standard time for text evaluation is 90 days from the date of receipt.

Declaration of Misconduct in Ethics and Publication Practices: Our declaration is based on the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (Committee on Publication Ethics, 2011). Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Graduate and PostGraduate Medical Studies undergo a thorough originality check using plagiarism detection software before being subjected to peer review.
